Other Distance Education Resources

Distance Education is a great option for many thousands of people these days, so if you’d like to know a little more about it just check out some of these links and resources.

The first place you should check out is probably the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) which is a nonprofit organization which serves the needs of anyone involved in distance learning by providing information, advocacy, opportunity and networking.

The American Distance Education Consortium (ADEC) offers a national consortium of all state universities as well as institutions offering grants for distance education programs and services. 

World Wide Learn also has loads of information about the different distance education possibilities world wide. This directory has info on degrees, classes, training courses and workshops.

Distance-education.org is an online directory of the many different learning degree programs and offers a great online comparison tool for you to research about online college tuition.

Distance-educator also has lots of news, reviews and links to distance education resources.

Another resource for finding out about online schools is in this terrific Guide to Online Schools. This directory has information about lots of leading accredited online education universities, colleges and other distance learning programs. You can choose to search by either degree or by subject.
